BALTIMORE BLUES BY LAURA LIPPMAN

Baltimore Blues
by Laura Lippman

Again this young woman who was a reporter acts a private investigator to help her best friend off of murder charges. He is also her coach for boating racing. She lives with her aunt above her aunt's bookstore. Suspenseful and interesting. Her dealings with unethical and dishonest attorneys were all negative. There are silly ordinary things this author sets this protagonist up to and it does not make sense. Most of all I did not like it and it made the entire book elementary in quality. It was very sexist. About a fellow boater that is engaged to a woman that seems to be something other than the person she is suppose to be, an attorney besides that.
